My Top 10 Anime

(Updated Feb 2022)

One) Detective Conan

In the recent 2 years, my love for Detective Conan has grown and it topped my number 1 Zankyou no terror had been my favourite anime for many years but something about this ongoing anime took the top spot.

It has gotten a little bit tedious watching and reading where there is no clear end in sight but things just keep getting interesting and interesting by the minute.

Two) Irregular at Magic Highschool

The Irregular at Magic high school also known as Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei is my second favourite anime. Irregular can be said to be a regular magic high school anime but I find it has a bit more background, It’s very hard for me to watch a show in sub but this is a show I can watch numerous times and never skip any second of it.

From the main characters Miyuki and Tatsuya to the storyline, to the magic, to the bureaucracy, just from the cover of this anime, there is more to see than meets the eye.

Three) Baki

I only started watching Baki last year when the new season was released on Netflix.

Baki is outright crazy but that is just what makes the anime great! from ridiculously big and muscled characters to the outright things they can do and call it ‘Martial arts’ (air quotes aha) I can’t wait to see what comes next 😀

Four) Zankyou no Terror

Terror in Resonance aka Zankyou no Terror had been my number 1 anime for a few years now, I found it when I had nothing else to watch, I found it Intriguing but unfortunately it has been pushed to 4.

From the anime itself, the storyline, the music, the animation Zankyou no Terror is the anime I could watch a million times over but its that one anime I can watch and stop, it’s the anime I have to spend from early morning to late night watching straight to finish, this anime breaks my heart every time but its the best.

Five) Boruto next generations

I’ve been watching Boruto since its release back in 2017, I thoroughly enjoy this series while still maintaining the characters from Naruto.

In recent episodes, it’s been heartbreaking but also things are finally rolling along at 236 episodes to date the next arc looks very interesting and I can’t wait for it start!

Six) Psycho-Pass

Psycho-Pass has been an all-time favourite of mine Now that it’s just released its third season with brand new characters, I begin to love it even more.

Season 2 was a bit of a let-down when we lost Kougami but when everyone was bought back for season 3 behind the two new leads it brought a tear to my eye.

the openings and endings to Psycho-pass is one of the reasons I love Japanese music.

Seven. Jojo Bizzare Adventures

Jojo’s bizarre adventures coming in at 7

As everyone knows Jojo has been going on for years and is well known for being over the top and dam right weird as we’re on part 6 in the anime and part 8 in the manga we have met many descendants of the Joestar family line, Jojo’s Bizzare adventures is comical and never fails to make me laugh.

From Hamon to stands, from Dio to the Pillar men to Kira Yoshikage the show has not found a brilliant idea to draw people into the madness.

Eight: Hellsing/Hellsing Ultimate

Can we say how brilliant Crispin Freeman plays Alucard! Hellsing has been a big anime since we all know the story of Dracula If I had to choose between season 1 or season 2, Hellsing Ultimate.

There are many scenes like when they meet the Wild Geese and when Sreas finds her bed missing are scenes I can recite like it’s on the back of my hand. There are many laugh out loud scenes in this anime but never fails to draw people in with the blood and awesome fight scenes.

Hellsing will always have a place in my heart.

Nine: My hero Academia

In 2014 My hero academia came out and everyone went crazy, I have watched all seasons and I watched both films in the cinema. My hero is very relatable telling anyone they can do anything if they put their minds to it and in this anime, Deku can become a hero even though he doesn’t have a quirk.

Don’t get me wrong My hero academia is a good anime and it will always have a place in my heart, but Unfortunately, the anime above it has always been better in the years I have watched anime.

Ten) Shokugeki no Soma

I love food as much as the next person and therefore I have Food wars on my top 10 list No cannot stop Soma embarrassing his fellow peers and friends but you can see from the brand new season how much he’s changed the school known as Totsuki Saryo Culinary Institute.

From his famous father Joichiro to his son Soma, Totsuki sees another ingenious chef coming through its halls but the way the show is over the top with stupidness you cannot not like it.

I was not ready for this show to end and I miss it very much.
